1. START/FINISH
Start and finish line of the 24H Skate Race are located in Seefeld in the cross-country skiing stadium Seekirchl.

2. STARTER PACKAGE
The starter package contains the following services:

  • Starting Number 
  • Timekeeping + transponder (deposit 50,- € cash by way of pledge in accreditation)
  • Present for participant
  • Route map/altitude profile
  • 24 h buffet for participants
  • Trackside catering in the transition area (nur Getränke)
  • Relaxation room
  • Finisher Medal

3. ENTRY FEE
Single starters and teams of 2, per person:

  • until 28/12/2008 €80
  • until 18/01/2009 €90
  • until 1 p.m. on 24/01/09 €100

Teams of 4 per person:

  • until 28/12/2008 € 70
  • until 18/01/2009 € 80
  • until 1 p.m. on 24/01/09 € 90

Teams of 6 and company teams of 6 people and more:

  • until 28/12/2008 € 60
  • until 18/01/2009 € 70
  • until 1 p.m. on 24/01/09 € 80

4. START
Start is in the cross-country skiing stadium Seekirchl on Saturday, 24January 2009, at 2 p.m. The race ends on Sunday 25 January 2008 at 2 p.m. Team leader meeting is at the convention center in the crosscountry skiing stadium Seekirchl on Saturday at noon.

5. CIRCUIT
The length of the laps and the altitude to be managed will be announced. Any change of skiers after full lap. Other than the skating loipe, there is the possibility to ski in classical style. There is NO extra classical rating.

6. CATERING
There is catering in the transition area with warm and mineral beverages. The buffet for participants is in the relaxation room. There are pasta, warm soup, energy bars, tea, water, bananas, apples, cakes, sandwiches etc. The disposal of waste of any kind causes disqualification. Relatives or other festival guests can cater for money.

7. RATING
There are the following categories:

  • Single starters
    • men
    • women
  • Teams of 2, 4 and 6
    • men
    • women
    • mixed
  • Company rating
    • 6starters and more up to 10 people

8. TROPHY MONEY
Material and cash prizes fort he three winner teams of each category. At least 20 teams have to start in each category to qualify for trophy money. With fewer than 20 teams in one category the three winner teams receive material prizes. In the categories company rating and teams of 4, 6 mixed there are only material prizes.

Attention:
Payment of the trophy money will be made directly after the presentation ceremony in the accreditation. In default of appearance we will hold a drawing for the amount.

9. PRESENTATION CEREMONY AND LIST OF RESULTS
During the race provisional results will be compiled and be the preliminary ranking at the end of the race. The presentation ceremony will be on Sunday 25 January 2009 at about 3 p.m. We ask the three winners of each category to come to the presentation ceremony. Report at the Speaker in the finish area.

10. CHECK POINTS
There are up to three check points on the route which the participants do not know before and which have to be passed by them. There each starting number will be recorded. The raced lap will not be counted if these check points are not passed by the participant.

11. RACE PROCEDURE
Only completely raced laps will be counted. Racing in skating or classical styles are allowed. Each team receives a handover band which has to be handed over to the next athlete in transition. So it is guaranteed that a handover took place in the transition area. The handover band and the starting number with transponder have to be given back in the accreditation after the race. Only in case of handover the racer/the team will be included in the ranking.

12. SHOWERS/CHANGING ROOMS
Showers and changing rooms are in " Funktionsgebäude" at the cross-country skiing stadium in Seefeld.

13. IMPORTANT

  1. There are enough monitors on the route, however, you are responsible for your safety!
  2. As only parts of the route are lighted, each participant has to race with an appropriate headlamp at nightfall for your safety and the safety of the competitors. If you do not wear a headlamp you will be disqualified!
  3. Attention: Someone who is pushed or pulled will be disqualified!
  4. Extremely important: If you have to cancel the race, please report this to the next monitor. Hand the starting number and transponder over to the accreditation. Otherwise we cannot understand what happened to you.
